There are two common types of fungus during the summer: pityriasis versicolor caused by fungi that cause white or darker marks especially on the shoulders, back and chest and dermatophytosis, which is more common in children and can occur on any part of the body.

The contraction of these fungi is normally due to contact with contaminated areas. However, to prevent fungus you should use rubber flip-flops in public places (such as swimming pools), dry your feet well (especially between the toes) and other areas of the body such as the tendrils and armpits, change your socks and underwear daily, avoid sharing your clothes and hygiene accessories, keep your nails short, air your shoes regularly and wear light clothing, preferably made of cotton.
