How to make homemade hyaluronic acid

Taking care of our body and our personal appearance is very important to feel good both physically and emotionally. And to achieve that goal we undergo beauty treatments ranging from exfoliating, moisturizing creams, cleansing and detoxification.

Many of the best creams that we can find on the market contain natural ingredients that provide us with many benefits. Hyaluronic acid is one of the favorite components of many women and dermatologists.

This component helps the proper functioning of our tissues. In our body we can locate it in the joints and cartilage, which provides them with adequate protection. However, despite the fact that this ingredient can be found in our system many beauty products and treatments include it.

Among its benefits we can highlight that it helps with a longer hydration of the skin, promotes the creation of collagen and the reduction of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps with elasticity and a much healthier skin by preventing or slowing down the aging process.

Many of the products that contain this ingredient tend to be a bit more expensive than the regular ones. However in this post I will teach you how to produce your own hyaluronic acid so that you can enjoy its benefits at no extra cost.

Ingredients
– 20 egg membranes
– Ethyl alcohol
– Purified water

Step by Step
1. Egg membranes
The egg is a very complete protein rich food and as well as its content nourishes and benefits us; its membrane is rich in collagen and hyaluronic acid. So we will detach the membrane from the shell of at least 20 eggs and let them dry for at least 2 days.

2. Spray
Once we have our membranes ready and dry, we put them in a food processor or coffee grinder. We grind them to create a powder.

3. Mix
Once we have the membrane powder, we will pour it into a preferably glass container. The level of powder in the container will be taken as a measure to add in equal parts the water and alcohol to mix them.

4. Rest and term
For all the nutrients to be impregnated we must let our mixture rest for at least 10 days; shaking the container every 2 days. Once this time has elapsed, with the help of a muslin or cotton fabric, we will strain our mixture to have the final product and be able to use it together with our creams.

5. Enjoy
Add to your daily routine and enjoy the benefits that hyaluronic acid offers you without spending more and from the comfort of your home.
