Split Pea Soup

Freeze in a bag:
1 lb dry split peas
2 cups of diced bacon
1 large yellow onion, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
2 cups carrots, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon thyme
2 bay leavesYou also need:
32-oz of chicken brothAdd 2 cups water and chicken broth to ingredients and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
