8. Experiencing Eye Pain
One of the earliest signs that indicate impairment of your kidneys’ filtration ability is the emergence of urine protein, which may lead to swelling or pain around the eye area. Swelling in your eyes can indicate several problems as your kidneys have to process an excessive amount of protein through the urine and instead of expelling it, they send it throughout the body.
Note: If you rest enough and don’t eat much protein, but you still notice swelling and puffiness around your eyes visit your doctor as quickly as possible
