Just because you don’t have a lot of friends doesn’t make you shy. Of course, introverts find it tough to meet and be comfortable around new people. That’s because they don’t get energized by crowds but turn inwards to recharge. An outgoing introvert is happy to form new ties as long as there are common interests. That makes them selectively social, not antisocial.
