An outgoing introvert finds meetings tiresome. However, that doesn’t mean they are shy; just that they like to think through their ideas first before sharing them, and that’s hard to do in a meeting.
So, if you are always mum in a meeting but follow up with individuals after sorting through what was discussed, you are not shy. You just needed time and space to process your thoughts on the matter.
